Lumber - Green and Dry Kiln

Shomaker Lumber produces lumber for both domestic and foreign consumers.  Using the National Hardwood Lumber Association's grading rules, lumber is sorted by length, thickness, and grade.  Lengths will range 7' - 16' with thickness ranging 4/4 - 16/4.  Green loads are assembled immediatley and others are sent to the dry kiln facilities.  The lumber sent to the dry kiln facilities can then either be put on sticks to begin the air drying process or put directly in the kiln.
